Does Trump Want Iran to Try to Go Nuclear?

Despite a pandemic, a looming cold war with China, and the harshest economic crisis since the Great Depression, President Donald Trump still has room on his plate for provoking a war with Iran. That is the only plausible interpretation of his decision, reported by the Washington Post this week, to end the sanction waivers that allow Russian, Chinese, and European companies to do work at Iranian nuclear sites. The odd thing about this decision is that those companies were helping to prevent Iran from reviving its nuclear program. With the waivers removed, the brakes will be lifted, and Iran is likely once again to…

Life is either a great adventure.

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure. The best teams not to win MLS Cup | Greg Seltzer

There have been a lot of great sides that have thrilled MLS fans through the league’s first quarter-century, but not all of them were able to rubber-stamp that greatness with at least one league crown. We’re here today to discuss the best of the teams who never raised MLS Cup. Some of these will be specific to a particular season of peak-too-soon greatness, while others rep their colors over a multi-season “always a bridesmaid” era. Any club that previously won it all with a similar core group of players or would soon do so is happily disqualified from making this…

Raiders’ New HQ Almost Ready

The Las Vegas Raiders might sever their final ties with California in the coming months. The Raiders were planning to hold a minicamp at lame-duck Bay Area headquarters in Alameda and training camp at Redwood Middle School in Napa, Calif., where they have conducted it since 1996. However, Vincent Bonsignore reported in the Las Vegas Review-Journal that according to an unnamed source close to the team, both events could be moved to the Raiders’ new headquarters in Henderson, Nev., which are all but finished. General Manager Mike Mayock was quoted in February that he was hoping something like this might…

Ford’s cop cars can now kill coronavirus with extreme heat

Ford is ready to bring the heat to the coronavirus fight. Research conducted in conjunction with The Ohio State University found that the cycle could reduce concentrations of the virus present by up to 99 percent. The software is compatible with the 2013-2019 models of the SUV. Depending on the year, the feature is engaged either with a smartphone…

House votes to relax coronavirus PPP loans for small businesses

The House overwhelmingly voted Thursday to relax rules for how businesses use Paycheck Protection Program funds during the coronavirus pandemic. The reforms passed 417-1 and now go to the Senate for consideration. The Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act allows businesses to spend money over 24 weeks rather than just eight to qualify for loan forgiveness. Companies taking part in the $670 billion program also would be allowed to defer payroll taxes, and the percentage they must spend on payroll would drop from 75 to 60 percent. Business leaders lobbied hard for the changes, and a group of restaurant owners implored President Trump…

The Coronavirus And Its Spread Through Information Suppression

Like everyone else I’ve been bombarded with news and information concerning the “Coronavirus”. Can’t help feel the pressure from this viral outbreak when you walk into a supermarket and there’s no toilet paper. Every type of paper fit to wipe yourself is gone from a panic that is created only by people who live their lives in a panic. There’s absolutely no shortages of anything except the shortages that are being created by the panicked people who are hoarding for no good reason. This hoarding causes people who are not panicked to hoard also. Of course the “Coronavirus” came to…
