One new confirmed case of the coronavirus was reported Thursday by the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services.
The new case, a woman in her 30s, brings the total to date to 29. The county Health Department said there remains two active cases, while 24 people have been deemed fully recovered.
As of Thursday afternoon, 51 county residents were either in quarantine or isolation. And of the tests administered to date, 653 have come back negative.
In Cattaraugus County, two new cases of the virus were reported, bringing the total there to 33. The new cases involve a woman living in the northeastern part of the county and a man in the southwestern part of county.
To date, 22 county residents have fully recovered from COVID-19, with 95 people currently in mandatory quarantine. Of the 657 tests administered, 597 have come back negative.
